    Indicator Field for Views

I am looking for an Indicator Field for each view in my form.  I can get the view by doing XDocument.UI.Alert(XDocument.View.Name); but I was wondering if there is a way in JScript to have a permanent indicator field that will show up at the top of my form and will change with every view switch so that the user will know what view they are on.  Thanks

The easiest way is to add some text to the top of the screen, like "View 1", "View 2", or whatever. Why bother writing code?

Is there a way I can do an OnClick event in my task pane that highlights the view when the view is clicked.  And when the next view is clicked then that one becomes highlighted?

The task pane is pure HTML. It can do anything that HTML can do, including use script, CSS, dynamic HTML, AJAX, or whatever.

Use of the word "highlight" is throwing me off. Do you mean like a yellow background color on the text that was clicked, or do you mean switching views? The answer to either is "Yes".

A task pane can call into the XDocument object through the window.External object. There should be plenty of resources available that show how to do this.
