This really can't be that dificult. It is the only thing holding me up from publishing my form. I have searched the entire forum for a solution with no luck.
I can create CAML code and submit to my list with no problem. But when I try to modify it to do what I actually want it to do it doesn't work. I know there has to be a way.
This is to create an Action Items list based on a change request form. I want the PPCENumber to populate from another Field that is autogenerated number.
The PPCEID number is the autogenerated number concatinated with the number of rows returned from the sharepoint list so that I can update the status of the unique action item number. I am having trouble setting the fields value because the default values are grayed out. Also, I want to include a datePicker for DueDate but that is the only control that I can no hide under conditional formating.
If you right click on the secondary data connection and create the repeating table it gives a name text box and fields text box for you. I've added fields that I created to the fields column and did some conditional formating to display each text box based on the name field. I was also able to set default values that I wanted but when I submit the Action Item it only creates a blank entry in my SharePoint List.
If you know of a form that has been published to a shared drive that allows submitting a companys change request action items to a SharePoint list please share.
