InfoPath Dev

The forms have been working great and all of a sudden all InfoPath forms using GetMyInfo are gettings this error.  I have restarted the webservice and appliation pools which normally get this working again. Using InfoPath 2003

Error

InfoPath cannot create a new, blank form.

InfoPath cannot open the form.  To fix this problem, contact your system administrator.

InfoPath cannot run the specified query.

Hi Christopher,

This usually means that the web service is unreachable.  Can you bring up the ASMX pages in the browser from the computer you are trying to open the form in?

GetMyInfo

Gives the Active Directory properties of the currently Logged In user.

Test

The test form is only available for requests from the local machine.

You should check your server firewall where AD is installed.  If it is enabled, check that port used is allowed to pass.  A quick check would be to just disable the firewall and test the form.

Also, is the AD Service being hosted on a Sharepoint site?  If it is, is it Sharepoint 2007?

You can try adding the following to the <system.web> section to force removal of Sharepoint v3 (and MOSS 2007) modules that may be causing issues with the webservice.
