I have a form in development in IP 2003. 

Based on an email address, I search a SQL table and populate a dozen fields. 

 I do this by setting the default values on each field based on a match on the email fields

 When I open the form, I am getting inconsistent results.  Sometimes the fields are populated and sometimes that are not.  Some fields populate sometimes and others never populate.

 No locks on the SQL table.

 Anyone have any ideas?

This is weird.  Were are the values that you are expecting coming from? Maybe the database is in a "transaction state" or something when you query it, which makes it unable to return the desired data.
