Is there a way to have a control in a repeating table to be an autonumber, so that each time a new row is added to the table the content of the field increases by one?  It would be like numbering the rows.  I need to have this number so the user can enter it into another repeating table on the form, creating a reference between the two tables.  The user will need to add more details in the second table for some items (rows) in the first repeating table, but not for all of them.

put an expression box into your repeating section. click the fx button, click insert function, select position(). there you go. hope this helps
