I have been working on a small library to help out with people who use code behind in InfoPath 2007.

The automatic properties article is still a work in progress so check back for updates if it interests you. I currently only support fields and attributes (not groups). However the properties do support most dataTypes and also repeating/nillable elements. I am planning to do the following in future:
- Support for groups/choice
- Improved hierarchy for access e.g. Attributes.AttributeName rather than simply AttibuteName.
- Support for further data types (e.g images).
- Support for accessing views and roles by name e.g. Roles.RoleName and View.ViewName rather than using strings.
