    Autocomplete values from MDB

    Hello,

    2 colums from my table are the Code (fcod) and the Description (fdesc). I made a Data connection to an MDB file. I want to autocomplet the Description value if I insert a part of the Code.
    I insert a rule to the fcode:
    fdesc = @desc[contains(@cod; current()/../fcod)]
    but I always get the first component from the MDB file.

    Please help me.

    Thanks,
    Best regards,
    Nagy Ferenc

    As I have only used the EN-US version of InfoPath, forgive my ignorance if other language versions use different syntax... but for the contains() method, should you be using a comma "," instead of a semicolon ";" ?

    That's all I can think of at this point.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    The ";" symbol is no problem because I used this first time in my first XSN file and there it's working. It's strange that I reproduce almost the same thing and here doesn't working.
    In my first XSN is used in a Repeating Table and here, in my new file, in Repeating Section.

    Writing the formula in the Value of Action, after validating with OK the formula will be changed always from the "," to the ";". I have an EN-US version of InfoPath.

    Sincerely,

    So were you able to resolve your issue by changing from a repeating table to a repeating section?
