    xhtml img problem

I'm having trouble with the following which I create in c#. It looks to be OK as the xd:inline starts with R0lG which indicates it is a GIF file. But nothing displays in InfoPath when I open the form. Don't get any errors either.

    <my:SubstantiationRTF><img xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" src="msoinline/d6724351-6879-4935-aa07-1beb20f08b86" xd:inline="R0lGODlhOQOdBOcAAP///9DQ0P......../></my:SubstantiationRTF>

    Hi Ichivers,
I forget but I think GIF is converted to some other format. Can you try another format?

I read a link that converted the image to png format

    http://216.239.59.104/search?q=cache:-3w0OLEmx-IJ:tomclarkson.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!4EC8811DD2D16631!179.entry+xhtml+png+infopath&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1

Does that ring any bells ? I tried that but it didn't work, I'll try it again.

When I paste an image in InfoPath and look at the source XML the xd:inline begins with R0lG which indicates that it is a GIF.

Infopath definately compresses the original image in some way though.

I really appreciate any help and guidance.

    Ian.

    Hi Ian,
I was the dev lead at Microsoft for this feature back in 2001 and 2002. Alex Croicu was the developer. I should send him e-mail and see if he has any ideas. I think we will need more information about your scenario. If you could explain in detail exactly what you are doing, it would help.
