have value of the field when use shortcut

    Hi,

I have find an intersting things!

You know that when you insert somethings in a textbox and directly on it you press a shortcut (alt+) of a button, if you interogate this field is empty because the insert event has not fired.

For correct this, simply add a rules* in the button and after that in the code you will find the value of the field that you have just entered.

*The rules that I have succesfully tested is: switch view, dialog box(both) and set a field's value.

Hope you understand what I try to explain and hope that can be useful for your application!

    Thierry

P.S. Anybody know if it's correct in the 2007 version of Infopath?

This is a very interesting find and will help others. Thank you for sharing this tip. I would consider this a bug in InfoPath 2003. Someone will have to test the behavior in InfoPath 2007 as well.
