Hi,
I am trying to create a purchase order form using a repeating table with a DDL populated by a secondary data source and a textbox that I want to be populated with the item price after choosing the item from the drop down. And I need to make sure that the text box is using the current rows DDL selection. If I use an expression box I can get the price to populate correctly, but when I try the same formula with a textbox it remains blank. The textbox is connected to a Access database so that I can capture the price information in the order. Any ideas on how I can make this work? I am desperate to get this working.
This is the formula:
xdXDocument:GetDOM("Items")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:Items/@Price[../@ItemID = current()/@ItemName]
or
@Price[@ItemID = current()/@ItemName]
When I use it in the expression box I get the right price, but when I use it in the textbox I get nothing.
Thanks
