I have made the date picker display the current date, but what if the user opens the form. Will this date continue to change to the current date. If so, how do I prevent the form from changing everytime the form opens...unless the form is saved again. I'm trying to make the date picker read only.

Need to set conditional formatting to set date picker read only
Here are the steps to make date picker read-only

1. Open the form in Design mode
2. Go to Properties window of date picker by double clicking on it
3. Click on “Display” tab
4. Click “Conditional Formatting” button
5. Click “Add” button
6. In first drop down box select “The expression” and in second drop down box, enter “1”
7. Check “Read-only” check box
8. Click “ok” for three times
