I have a form i created that i am trying to get to submit data to a ms access db. I created the DB with the fields in a table that will get the data from the form and created the data connection between the form and db. when i go to fill out the form and click submit i get the following error.
"Infopath could not submit the form"
The OnSubmitRequest event handler retruned a value indicating that the submit failed.

I am new to this but really like infopath. can someone please give me some direction on what may be causing my error.

Hi,

The above mentioned error will occurs when you try to submit the form using code in the onSubmitRequest() function. I think you are doing the mistakes in the implementation of
function XDocument::OnSubmitRequest(eventObj)
{
}
Rectify the code which u written in the function implementation to submit the form data to database.

Do you have any code on your OnSubmitRequest event handler? If so, it might be returning FALSE which I think tells InfoPath to display this message. The SDK (see Resources) has info on the OnSubmitRequest event handler.
