    List Boxes and Repeating sections

    I am creating a form with a repeating section. The repeating section has a field called 'Title.' I have another field called 'Reference.' Reference is bound to a list box. I would like the list box to populate with the collection of all other Titles. When I preview the form, the list box only populates with the current instance of the repeating table.

    How do I get all instances to populate the list box?

    Thank you,

    Ren

    Hi Ren,

    Follow the below steps,

    1. Add “Repeating Section” with the “Title” field.
    2. Add one more field “Reference” and bound to list box.
    3. Select “Look up values in the form#%92s data source” option in list box.
    4. Select “group2” (repeating section) from “Entries”.
    5. Click on preview.
    6. Which ever you added the new title you could see in the “Reference” list box.

    You schema structure should be follows:

    <myFields>
    <my:group1>
    <my:group2>
    <my:Title></my:Title>
    </my:group2>
    </my:group1>
    <my:Referrence></my:Referrence>
    </my:myFields>

    Shiva thank you for your reply. I have been able to get your solution to work, however I need each title to be able to have many references. Is there any way to populate a list box with in the repating section? The schema would like like:

    <myFields>
    <my:group1> (Repeating)
    <my:Title></my:Title>
    <my:group2> (Repeating)
    <my:Referrence></my:Referrence> (Bound to list box where entries come from group1 and Title)
    </my:group2>
    </my:group1>
    </my:myFields>

    Once again, thank you,

    Ren
