    Check the View State

    Hello,

    Is there an easy way to check which view of the form you are in from javascript using the DOM?

    thanks,

    I think I found something:

    var oViewState = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("//my:_Internals/my:Status").nodeTypedValue;

    That's interesting - did you create this node in your schema and add a rule to it or something?

    I think what you're looking for is this:

    var viewName = XDocument.View.Name;

    Have you downloaded the InfoPath SDK yet? A link to it can be found on the left side of this page.

    Thanks Matt,

    I took over this project in progress - so I'm not sure if it was custom or not.
    (judging by your response it sounds custom)

    Your solution works as promised,

    thanks
