    Publishing the Currency symbol

I have a field on my form that sums the value of two decimal fields formatted as currency. The sum field is also formatted as currency but when I publish that field to a SharePoint portal, the value is just a decimal number, I lose the currency designation. For instance, when the form is saved with a value of $45,678.90 in the summed field, the SharePoint portal only shows the digits 45678.90 and I lose the currency symbol and the value separators (commas).

Can't I post the data with the currency symbols?

    Hi,

You have to change Data type of “Total” field to decimal (double) and format it to currency and then publish the form.
I think your “Total” field data type is by default Text. You have to change it to Decimal (double).

By doing this currency symbol is not displayed but separators are displayed.

I hope this will be helpful to you.

    Thanks
