    SharePoint Cache?

I am modifying and existing Sharepoint site and Infopath document. Rather than use a Sharepoint List, I changed it to a Sharepoint Form Library. The problem is that after deleting the old Data Connection and Adding a New one for the Form library, the Data Schema still reflects the Old Sharepoint list. I have added and deleted a number of times but it appears that nothing affects this. Do I have to manually delect the manifest or something? Nothing seems to affect it. Any suggestions

    Hi Andy,
Weird. Are you sure you're using the new form? There is a cache for the form templates. You can remove the old cached copy by going Start->InfoPath, selecting All Forms in the left Form Categories pane, clicking on Last Used column to find the most recent forms. Select the one you were using and click Remove This Form in the right Form Tasks pane. Now try again.

If that still doesn't solve the problem, it's likely something to do with the manifest... which would indeed be weird. In the Designer, you can go to File->Extract Form Files and save to a directory. Then open the manifest.xsf in notepad and examine the data connections. Be careful not to make manual changes or you may not be able to open your form. Tell us what you find there.

    Good luck!

I got around this by manually replacing the xsd file for the new form library. Not sure why I have to do this though.

My original implementation was a Sharepoint List Named "Project Category". I deleted the data connection and added a new one for a Sharepoint Form Library "Project Category Master". The new connection retained the fields from the old one. The only way I could get this to work was to delete the xsd file with the form and replace it with the correct one.

    Sounds like a product bug.
