    Stop script executing

    I have a button in my form. When the button is pushed, a script runs. There an error can be generated by the script so I need to stop script executing if it is. How can I do this?

    Hi,

    If you don't say what is the error and
    what is your script I dont think that we can help you.

    So post your script and say what is really your problem!

    Thanks

    I have Infopath form that contains some fields with data. Also I have Indesign application that have a blank document.
    I use this to use indesign as activex object:
    var id = new ActiveXObject("Indesign.Application");

    I use this construction to determine if a document is open in indesign:
    try {var myDoc = activeDocument}
    catch (error) {XDocument.UI.Alert("no open files in indesign");}
    Here i have some code to run if there is a document opened.
    So if there is no opened documents in indesign, I need to stop script running.

    If your code is inside of a JScript function, can't you just issue a return statement to end the processing of the function?

    Or am I oversimplifying?
