Hi all, I am setting the value of a Date picker control and it keeps putting the red box around it indicating an error, I am doing it on a code behind button which I need to set dynamically (an approval date I don't want users to set). here is the code I am using:

thisXDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("//dfs:dataFields/d:ProjPreScreen/@DateSignedQA").text = CDate( strdate)

If I take the CDate out, it still gets the same error, but the field displays the correct date in a correct format ie. 11/14/2005.

What gives?? any help appreciated.

You have to manually format your date string following the ISO8601 standards. There might be a function in C that does this, but check out this thread for more details:
