Hi,

I have created a custom contol. Is there any way so that my custom control can parse the form to get the list of controls available on the form.

The custom control can exchange data with the form, but it cannot parse the XSL. What are you trying to do?

Thanks Patrick for giving your valuable input. I am really sorry that I was out of office for a week so could not keep the follow up.

Actually, I am trying to bind the controls of Infopath form to a custom data source. To do this, I have created a custom control which has a drop down control and a text field. Now, I want to populate the drop down with the names of the controls on the form. The user will select a control name in the drop down and will manually enter the data source. Then I will try to update the controls on the form with the value depending on the data source defined using the code in custom control.

Can the code in the custom control access the info path control in same way like - thisXDocument.DOM.selectNodes(“”);
