I've created a form that queries in an access db table. The table contains several fields which needs to be queried, which is no problem.
The problem occurs when/because the table contains 7 fields named "DAY1", "DAY2"...."DAY7". Thus, before the user of my form runs a query, he/she has to input a date. Hopefully the form will only show results where the date chosen by the person filling out the form matches one of the dates in my table fields "DAY1", "DAY2"...."DAY7".
I've tried to use the custom code and rules function, whereby the form should only run a query, if there is a match between the day chosen, and one of the dates "DAY1", "DAY2"...."DAY7", but it doesn't work. I suspect the problem occurs because somehow the date chosen by the form user, affects the following query. Thus I've inserted a secondary dataconnection, to separate the query fields and the "chosen date" (secondary dataconnection), but it still doesn't work.
If the above makes sense, is there an easier way, a form code or something else, which can solve my problem?
