Change the insert text of an optionnal section

    Hi,

In infopath you have optionnal section and you can give a text:

Is it possible to change the value of this text? It's for a multilingual use!

"click here to insert" become "Cliquez ici pour insérer".

I have four possibility for this text. That depends on attribute Lang contain in primary datasource define on the onload event of my form

    The 4 possiblity:

@Lang="1" German "Klicken Sie hier, um den Abschnitt einzufügen"
@Lang="2" French "Cliquez ici pour insérer"
@Lang="3" Italian "Fare clic qui per inserire"
@Lang="4" English "Click here to insert"

What is the best way to change this text by another modify view.xsl make a C# code?

    Thanks for your feedbacks

Re: Change the insert text of an optionnal section

Well, to start just set the "click here to insert" text that you find in the repeating table properties box to "" and proceed to add it back with your own, customizable button. 2 ideas:

If the form needs to look "pretty" and very user friendly:
Put in 4 buttons with the 4 different languages and set up a hidden field signifying which button to display (button_display). Use conditional formatting on each of the buttons so that they are "hidden" except when button_display=="english". Then in your OnLoad, just set the hidden data field to whatever language you're using and only that button will appear. In the code that makes the button work you'll have to insert a blank row in the repeating table that you're working with. Also, all four buttons should call the same function of course.

    If it's no big deal:
Do the same thing above, except just use a text box and change the content of the text box OnLoad(). Instead of putting the addRow() function into a button event, just put it in the onBeforeChange() event of the text box so that when they click it, it will call and insert a row.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your answer!

But this is not what I want to do! I don't want to slow down my form with this kind of conditionnal formatting! My form is very big and take a lot of memory ! So I can't do this

What I need is an idea about how to modify the view.xsl with a c# code? Is it possible? Other idea about how to proceed?

    Thanks
