    Repeating Table qustion

    Hi

I am designing a form that receives data connections from 2 different sharepoint spread sheets. I am new to this so please bear with me.

This is what i have done. My main sheet has most of the information on it and it auto puplutes many areas of the form i am designing based a 3 digit code in a drop down list. This works great.

The problem is with the second data connection that receives data from a different form that is for assets being shipped. This data being pulled is simple. There is four colums that i have setup in a repeating table on my form in infopath. They are Asset Tag, Serial Number, Type (of device), and the three digit code from above. Now i can make this work if only one device is being shipped but i need to make this work for multiple devices.

Example if i am using the form for code "333" I want it to receive data from the spread sheet that is in share point. So if this spread sheet has 6 devices on it that match code 333 i want it to populate in the form. Right now i can only get it to do 1 and if i click on the insert item button it just repeats the same info.

Can anyone help me with how the data connections are supposed to be setup to give me all of the matching rows on the other sheet that match the 3 digit code?

Hopefully i am not confusing to many of you.

Ok so i was able to get the data to pull the right way but now i get 100 rows of empty space.

If the there are only 10 rows that match it will give me 90 rows that are blank. Is there a way to fix this?

This is coming from a sharepoint site if that helps and the view i think on the sheet that i am pulling from on the sharepoint is set to 100.

Try adding one more data filter:

    "column1" "is not blank" AND
    "column2" "is not blank" AND
    "column3" "is not blank"

I haven't tried this but it seems like it would work.
