I've got a large InfoPath form which is broken up into multiple views. I don't like the way SharePoint displays the form validation errors so I'm trying to come up with a better way. I've seen recommendations on creating a text field to display these errors with a Rule / Action.
Since the validation errors can come from any of the views could I create another view that's just for displaying the errors in that contains this text field for displaying the errors? I'm wondering if it's possible for me to switch to this view and display the errors when the form is saved (if there are any validation errors). The form doesn't have a Save or a Submit button. Our users use the Save icon in the SharePoint ribbon to save.
Just throwing this out there for any ideas.
