Please I need help.

I have a SharePoint 2016 Solution installed on Windows Server 2016.

I created an InfoPath 2013 form and created a data connection that fetch information from a web service ( through SOAP). The aim is to verify some detail through a unique number.

The form is working on InfoPath Preview perfectly but it throw the error when tested on SharePoint after publishing the form.

ERROR:

An error occurred while trying to connect to a Web service.

An entry has been added to the Windows event log of the server. 

Log ID:5566 

Kindly help. 

 

Yeah, the usual approach to this is to disable loopback on the server (which is the unsecure way to do it, but usually when you find the instructions for that, you can find the instructions for the right way!) - but I've not worked with on-prem SHP 2016, so I'm not sure if this is going to be the same there....

Please how do I  disable loopback on the server. Is it sharepoint server or the windows server?
