InfoPath Dev

Hi there, I have created and successfully published my form to SharePoint 2016 it's all working fine. However; when you hit the submit button it goes off into the shared mailbox twice (this happens most of the time but not every time) although the form is only submitting once into the form library. Any idea why this is happening and how I can make it stop.....? Could it be something to do with Outlook? Any advice would be great thanks. Regards Alison

Weird. I know the form is set to close after each rule, but perhaps try checking the "don't run remaining rules" checkbox in each of your submit rules and republish. See if that helps. I realize that you have the form set to close after the actions run, and that your conditions are exclusive.... but at least it is something to try.

 Hi Hilary, thanks for the reply. I checked all the boxes but to no avail, the form came into our account twice again. So frustrating. Struggling with this one and as I'm not a geek I can't even begin to fathom out why it would be doing it.

That is strange. I suppose I would try a test form, see if the issue reproduces. Just set up a test that is similar in its submit rules, publish to its own test library, see what happens?

I've created several forms and published to SharePoint and they have all had the same issue. They were fine on the old MOSS system. Now we are using SharePoint online it seems to be playing up and the only difference is that I have had to convert the form to work on SharePoint. SO all the submit buttons and data connections are the same. I wondered if it was something to do with being online/cloud based now as before we weren't. Strange one. Wish I was more geeky lol :) then I might have a better understanding of the background stuff.
