I have a fields AutoID that I created in InfoPath and I set to allow users to edit through the publishing wizard, but when I open in quick edit at the list I try to edit the AutoID field by typing a value and the value i type disappears when i select stop edit.
Unsure why that would be when I set it to allow users to edit from InfoPath when I did full publish to promote the field. I have admin right so i should be able to edit this field from quick edit. I have 500+ to make the AutoID = the ItemID. I have tried workflow as well.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
