Our InfoPath Filler forms are stored in a SharePoint form library. The user navigates to the SharePoint form library and clicks on the name of the form. The form is loaded on the client using InfoPath 2010 or InfoPath 2013. This process works fine when the user is navigating to the SharePoint form library using IE11. However, when testing with Microsoft Edge, an error is displayed when the InfoPath file name is clicked and the form is attempting to load. The error message is: This form cannot be opened in a Web browser. To open this form, use Microsoft InfoPath. It looks like SharePoint is trying to open the form in the browser, instead of in InfoPath on the client machine.
Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Is there a way to fix it?
