    Check boxes in a repeating table

    Hello,

    I have a check box bound to a field in a secondary data source inside a repeating table.
    (to be more specific - I have a secondary data source with languages and I need to display the names in that list and to be able to multiple select).
    The problem is that I can't select the specific checkbox for it - how do I retreive the checkbox as a control in order to set its value?
    I need something not triggered by an event as I want to set the checked/unchecked value of the boxes on the load of the form.

    Thank you,

    Are you using InfoPath 2007 and the multi-select list box control?

    Hello,

    I am using Infopath 2003.
    Luckily, I also found a way round this.
    I add the secondary data source to my script like this:
    XDocument.DataObjects("Languages").DOM.setProperty("SelectionNamespaces", 'xmlns:prj="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/dataFormSolution"');
    where Languages is a Sharepoint list,and then, when attempting to select the check box in order to set its value I use this code
    var node = XDocument.DataObjects("Languages").DOM.selectSingleNode("//*[@Language_code='value']");

    where value is a the value of the attribute bound to that checkbox.
    I hope I made myself clear :)

    Hello,

    I still do not have access though to the value attribute of the checkbox - any idea how I could change its value to checked?

    Thank you,

    Hello,

    I don't know whether it is a problem only with me - but I don't receive notifications anymore when someone replies to a topic I am subscribed to.

    Anyway, it would be of great help even to be able to "see" the xml file behind the form in order to get an idea how to change the checked box's value.
    Could you please help me with that?

    Thank you,

    Hi Monica,
    Sorry for the inconvenience. We had a server reconfig last week which we think caused this. I'm posting here to see if you receive a notification. Please let me know and if not we will investigate further.
