Hello,
I created an InfoPath form that collects monthly hours and
calculated as percentage of total hours worked based on other variables (not
important to mention here) and stored the form data in SharePoint form library.
The monthly calculations were based on whole numbers. Everything worked fine; however, the numbers
did not represent the actual data input.
The manager realized that partial/fractional (decimal) figures would
better represent the data. So the form
was changed so all hourly data and calculations and percentages would be decimal
numbers.
When I attempted to publish the form (to SharePoint) I received
the following error:
“The
column named "KTLO JAN Hours Worked" must be removed or modified. The
column's data type or its data source field has changed since this form
template was last published to the server running SharePoint.”
Is there a way to fix this issue (and other similar issues)
without creating a new form library (the existing form library has a lot of
data)?
FYI, I am using the 2010 versions of SharePoint and InfoPath.
Any help/information would be greatly appreciated!
