open a form in its saved view

    Hi,

I have a form with 6 views. How do I get the form to open in the view it was saved in. It only opens in the default view I published the form in. I'm using Sharepoint to publish my form.

I see that you can change the open/save behavior in form options but I don't know the code or the rules to make it happen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Lou

Re: open a form in its saved view

I've read through the article but still having issues.

I'm not sure how to apply the code. I don't want to set a default view with the code. I want the view that the user saved the form in to open when the form is opened again.

I have 6 different views and forms can be saved in any of those 6 views. What do I put in the part of the code that says "My View Name"? I need it to be dynamic to any form that has a saved view.

    Thanks
    Lou

    Hi lou131,

Try to do like this, take the enum values for all the views and an element for storing the status (Like the view name) and while submitting the form or saving the form store the status from the enum values in the element.

While reopening the saved or submitted form get the value from the element and switch to that view. Its clear.

    Hope this will help you.
