    Topaz signature pad

    I got a Topaz signature pad and they provided a script for Infopath. It works if your form is not using an Access database as the connection. I am striking out on how to reference the database. The Access database is called helpdesk.mdb. the table is called Student. the cell is called Signature. Here is the code from the example

    var objField1 = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("//my:myFields/my:field1");

    How do I modify it so it points to the access database?

    Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hi Jesse,

    If your Access database is the Main DOM it will be very similiar, but you must simply change the XPath to something like "/dfs:myFields/dfs:queryFields/ns1:Signature". You have to look at the data source taskpane to do this.

    If the database is on the secondary dom, then you will have to setup an object to reference it. Check out this tutorial for help:http://infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=ed2cf0c5895f468995cdd081cf17fead
