Hi,

I have a dropdown list where when a specific value is selected, 3 hidden field should get updated and they aren't.

These hidden fields are located 2 levels below a group/section that gets hidden based on the value above. Hiding the sections works fine, but changing the value of those fields doesn't. Is there an issue updating fields that are not displayed?

Is the workaround to add them to the view with a white font?  

Disregard this one. I modified my design to make it work.

Just FYI - not having the field on the form doesn't affect whether rules are triggered. Rules fire when the field they are on changes - usually if a rule isn't firing, it is because either it has a condition that is not correct, or the field itself is not changing.
