Creating Multiple Line Items with a Multiple Select List Box

I'm building a InfoPath Template linked to a SharePoint List. Supervisors within my company need to track the employees that have been trained. Using a Multiple Selection List Box I'm looking to see if I can create a SharePoint line item for every item (employee) that has been selected.

Not out of the box, I'm afraid. But if you are using an InfoPath List form, you can set the form to manage multiple items - maybe that is an option for you? You have to start with InfoPath, select the SharePoint List type of template, enter the URL for your list, and then you can select the option to manage multiple items in the form.

    Team,

I just had a follow-up question regarding the management of multiple items.  I have already created an InfoPath Template from blank, but now trying to manipulate it to manage multiple items. Is there a way to do this? If not, I have a template created from a SharePoint List already capable to manage multiple items, but I'm having problems when it comes to the "User Information List" Data Connection. In short, I have changed the multiple selection to a drop down, but still having challenging.

    Thanks again,
