Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this post. I am fairly new to InfoPath (2013) and have been appointed by my company to learn the program in order to convert all of our Word and Excel forms, as well as establish the processes to submit, approve/reject and store archives.
I have created and published several forms to a SharePoint site, which is only available to a select group of people within my company. Although the 'form' section of the SharePoint site is still under construction and not available for general use, all testing indicates that the they were created and are published properly. My problem is that I have been asked to create a new form to be used by a much larger group, all of whom do not have access to the SP site. For this reason, I chose to create it using the Email template in InfoPath. The goal is to distribute the form for use by email. The Design Checker in InfoPath does not return any errors; however, when I send the form to co-workers for testing, they are unable to open and receive the following message:
Form template:
C:\Users\nbklint\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.Outlook\5Y92KZAX\Submission Form - Simplify Improve
Idea-Issue.xsn
The following form template cannot be opened because the system
administrator has disabled opening form templates from the Internet: file:///C:\Users\nbklint\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary%20Internet%20Files\Content.Outlook\5Y92KZAX\Submission%20Form% 20-%20Simplify%20%20Improve%20Idea-Issue.xsn
Access is denied.
I have been combing the internet for several days, but am unable to find and viable advise or instruction. I am at a complete loss. I would greatly appreciate any expertise that you can provide.
Thank you, again.
Kelly
