Connecting and populating InfoPath 2013 forms from Active Directory

I have InfoPath 2013 and would like to set up a form where I can type in a username (a drop-down list might be too long with so many users) and then have other fields from Active Directory populate, like manager, title, and whatever else.  I can query and get results from AD using the command prompt, but I can't log into the server where it appears to reside (lack of permissions).  How can I define a data connection that will allow me pull the data from AD into an InfoPath form?  I've seen references to setting up a SOAP web connection to http://ServerName/_vti_bin/UserProfileService.asmx, but that doesn't work for me when I substitute "ServerName" with the server name I see listed for AD.  It tells me "The file is not a valid XML file.  Not enough storage is available to process this command."

I also see that there's a Qdabra Active Directory Web Service, but it looks like it needs to be installed on a server.  I don't have access to install on a server currently.  Is this something I can install on my Windows 7 Enterprise workstation instead?
