I have an Expense Form (library) with a repeating table control in it. Users inserts a row for every receipt they have, entering the category type (meals, travel, etc.), vendor and amount. Approvals kick off... typical stuff. Works perfectly.
Then a clerical has to get the data into our accounting application using an Excel loader, but the format is different.... oooooof course it is. I created a list and with Hillary's assistance using web services, CAML , and a check box on each row where she indicates she has validated each row, and am able to send the data in the format needed to the List. Works perfectly.
Now for twist #2, The clerical then wants to see the data from the list, on the Expense Form so she can see both the original data and the consolidated data from the list, be able to edit the list data in any way, save it, copy and paste into an Excel spreadsheet from the form, and print out a copy of the list data only.
I created another data connection and can display the list data into a repeating table but cant figure out how to allow her to edit it and save back to the list. I cant copy and paste from the repeating table into a spreadsheet even using paste special. Not sure if I am overthinking this or if it's really as disjointed as it appears?
