InfoPath 2010 Date Picker rule to send email when date is reached

    Hi,

    I'm new to the forum.

I had a quick search through the posts for an answer but wasn't able to find a solution to an issue I am having.

I am working on an InfoPath form that will hold our software licensing information, this will include software maintenance information and renewal of support from vendors.

What I would like is an email to be sent from the form when the maintenance renewal date is reached. I am unable to create workflows as our SharePoint site is controlled by our Group IT.

I am using SharePoint 2010 and InfoPath 2010.

What I have at the moment is a Date Picker field with an Action rule.

The condition is: MaintenanceRenewalReminder is equal to today()

The Action that runs is: Submit using a data connection

The data connection is set up with the email address and the subject has a formula: concat(Software Vendor, Software Title, "is due for renewal soon")

It doesn't appear to be working however as no email is received to the account.

Can anyone help suggest what I am doing wrong? Or is this even possible?

    I would appreciate any help.

    Thanks,

    Jack
