Re: Repeating Data Form/List Display in Dashboard Problem

I updated my form, but I changed your expression a little bit, as the Part Number shouldn't need to be included as a field in the List. I adjusted this to be ParentID instead. It works! I can finally move on.

    THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!

I would recommend that the Webinar instructions be updated, unless there is a reason why my form didn't work because it is a little different setup. I have stated before that there is an error on the first part of the instructions as well and a couple things that could be wrote a little different to eliminate some confusion. I am going to go back over it as to update my form library to not use the part number for the name of the xml. If you guys want I could make the corrections and some wording adjustments to it and send it over to you. I spent a lot of time in the graphic design/printing field, so I pay really close attention to wording and such.

Since you have my form and the templates installed on your server, could you possibly take a look at why I can't get the Part Number link to link to its form? Right now I just have the expression as a text link, I know it needs to be in the formula box, but it won't accept it there. I think that is the formula I was trying to use, I haven't looked at it in over a week.

    Thanks again!

Thanks for the offer on the revisions - I've gotten a copy of this webinar packet so I can check into the other bug you mention. Feel free to email me your suggestions - you have my email address. :)

Right now you have the hyperlink for the part number directed to Material Link from the Revisions link. I'd just drag the entire Revisions data source onto the form to check the values - doing that I can see that you have a value that looks like it was meant to be a formula. I see in the rules on Material Link in the Revisions data source that you may have pasted an XPath into the Value instead of clicking fx and entering a formula.
