I have a request for a form project where after a new hire occurs a form is kicked off by HR which goes to various departments so they can set up permissions, email, sharepoint access etc etc. But they want the people who fill in those items on the form to not be able to go to the document library where the form is and view any of the other forms from past new hires. Permission to edit and submit a form gives them the permission to view the form library items.
I know this isn't a new problem and I have done some searching, recommendation near as I can tell is to remove their line item permissions via workflow, I am familiar with designer and use it often. I have in the past also done the trick where you fill out the form in the library once it's done it gets workflow moved to another library with separate permissions and deleted from the original library but it creates two libraries to handle a single form which I really dislike.
My question though is are those the only two options to accomplish this, that workflow can be complex and I didn't want to climb that mountain if there was a better way.
