Hello, great forum! I hope somebody can kindly assist with the following:
I have created a form that includes a repeating table.
I would like each new row of the table to include a signature line that locks the contents of the controls within that row to read only. This looks fine in preview mode, I can add multiple rows each with a set of controls and a signature line for what seems to be each row.
However, unfortunately in practice I can only get the signature line to lock the contents of the first row, if I then try to add a second row I get a 'The data in this control has been digitally signed and cannot be changed.' message.
Is there a way of asking InfoPath to consider the controls in each additional repeating row as separate entities to the original row that is already signed?
Put another way is there a sensible way to deploy a repeating group of independent fields such as those circled on the right of my example, so that a user can add multiple rows to their training record with each row being signed independently by their supervisor? Perhaps repeatind table isn't the right approach but can't see anything obvious that can handle this situation.
