Hello,
Wondering if someone can help me with an InfoPath problem that has been plaguing me for quite some time. I've created an InfoPath form (Agenda Item Creator) that allows users to propose and submit agenda items for upcoming meetings. In that form the user creates an agenda item (Title) and then chooses where that agenda item should be placed (Agenda Location). These agenda locations can include New Business, Old Business, Presentations, etc. This Agenda Item Creator form submits data to a SharePoint 2013 list and works great. Now here is the problem.... I've created another form that I'd like to automatically create the agenda based on the date of the meeting (selected by the user) and have it display all agenda items that have been approved. I've created a repeating table inside this Agenda form that I'd like to categorize all the Agenda Items (Titles) by their Agenda Location. So another words I'd like to display as follows:
A. Consent Agenda
1. ITEM 1
2. ITEM 2
B. New Business
1. ITEM 1
3. ITEM 2 .... And so on.....
However, when I do this with a repeating table I get:
A. Consent Agenda
1. ITEM 1
A. Consent Agenda
1. ITEM 2
This seems it should be a simple thing to fix but I can't seem to figure it out. It seems that I just need to nest a repeating table/section within another repeating table/section but when I do this I get an error saying "A repeating table must be bound to a field or group that repeats". Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
Regards,
Brad
