Stuck Again...Trying to Use Name to Auto-populate Email

     First form I sent:

Was using the 'username' function. But, the data was unreliable. Created Employee Name and Email list.

Employee Name brings back name list as requested in a drop-down box.

    Query for Employee Name

         EmployeeNameIsNotBlank

         Set Field's Value

Filed: Employee List / Query Fields / Employee Name

              Value: Main / Employee Name

Data Source: Employee Name List Secondary

Set Field Value For Employee Email

        EmployeeNameIsNotBlank

        Set Field's Value

Field: Main / Employee Email Address

Value: Employee Name List Secondary / Date Fields / Email Address

Nothing comes back. I have verified (whatever that's worth), the data source is appropriate established (not automatically returning data).

The query LOOKS like it exactly mimics the Asset ID / Asset Description auto-populate functionality just below it; which is working fine.

    Please advise.

Whatever I just did now brings back the list of Employee Names to choose form. But, auto-populates the first email name on the list, no matter what Employee Name you choose.

Attach your template under the "options" tab in a reply and I'll take a quick look. Sounds like you aren't filtering the query, but returning all items in the list.

     Hilary:

I have a form that has multiple data connections (the main/sec connection, and an aggregate compliance count list regional connection - made from a separate four column list).

I can get the auto-populate function to fill in all the fields on the form that are in the main/sec list/connection.

I would also like the same action referenced above (the entry of the unique value 'Asset No'), to also auto-populate the three other fields (not on the main/sec  list/connection, but on a second list/data connection), using the park name returned during the initial form auto-populate function. I have created a second 'Park' field that duplicates the park auto-populate return generated from the entry of the Asset No in the primary section of the form.
