Hi I'm having the following problem:
I have built a form with conditional validation. To be precise it works like this:
Question 1 is a picklist witch values
Question 1a is a textbox which becomes mandatory depending on the choice made in question 1
To make this happen I've used a rule on question 1a (validation) that IF question 1 has value X or Y the textbox in 1a becomes mandatory.
Until this stage everything works fine. I see the red asterix-symbol popping up in the textbox as soon as I've selected the options in question 1 which demand mandatory field for 1a and if the field doesn't need to be mandatory I can submit the form without any problem.
The problem though is when the field in 1a becomes mandatory it doesn't seem to recognize when it's filled in. It keeps telling me that this field needs to be filled although there's text in it and of course the form can't be submitted.
I've already read on the internet that rich-text boxes might be the problem but I'm having the same problem with plain textboxes.
Am I missing something?
