I have a dropdownlist with few items. I also have a multiselect listbox with items from a sharepoint list. I want that based on the item selected in dropdown if that item also exists in the multiselect listbox then it should be checked and a validation error should be displayed that this item is already in use. I got this going with rule: if selected item=value in listbox then set value in listbox . But... when i select an item that is not present in listbox, then it sets (adds) new value to listbox and wrongly displays validation error.How to handle this.Listbox has unique values.
