We have a
document library which everyone has full access. I’ve created a template and we have one user
who creates the forms in question at the end of each of our projects. She does
this by logging into the SharePoint site and selecting New Document. She then
adds a few project fields and submits the document to SharePoint. At this point
she is done with the form. She emails the required individuals about the form
and they go to the document library to find and complete the form. Sometimes
there are several people who need to contribute to a form.
Our issues occur when the individuals go to edit the form. Some
forms show up as read only and cannot be saved after completion, others are
perfectly fine. I notice that I am asked for my credentials many times before
it lets me view the form that ends up being read only.
This issue
is driving me insane; I have already read a lot on the subject and checked a
few basic items. I’ve even compared the two forms side by side in notepad++ but
found no difference in the structure other than basic content.
Any help is
greatly appreciated.
