Hello- thank you for your time. Here is my issue:
My form contain a repeating table. An error is preventing me from submitting my form. It says there is a validation error that is not in the current view. However, I do not have a second view. The details of the error show "Field or group: EmployeeName, Error: This field is required." However, the field is filled out and present with no validation errors.
Here is my list of fields, MealData is associated with the top part of the form and Attendees is the repeating table. They are two seperate tables in Access, where the MealData:MealID is the foreign key in the Attendees table:
Here is my form & error:
At the top, "Traveler's TLG" (MealData:@TLG) set's the "Traveler's Name" (MealData:EmployeePaid) AND sets the value of "TLG" (Attendees:TLG) in the repeating table. That field then in turn sets the value of "Employee Name" (Attendees:EmployeeName).
The error doesn't make sense to me since the EmployeeName field is both present and contains data. Any ideas out there?
