Hello Mara8321,
The scenario you are describing is something we commonly do in our forms. You really have 2 options depending on the outcome you want. Both will use a helper field that gets set on submit. It could default as "New" and then be set to "Submitted" when the user clicks a button to submit. You'll need a submit button with a data connection to the library where your form is published, and you'll want to disable the ribbon options.
1. On "formLoad" have a rule to switch views if your helper field is equal to "Submitted"
2. Have a formatting rule on each field to disable if your helper field is equal to "Submitted"
Hope that helps!
