InfoPath Dev

I know I'm fighting the development environment.

I would like to somehow 'pin' the fields window pane on the left. Everytime I open a form in InfoPath, it displays the field window on the right and I have to drag it to the left. It does indeed stay there once I drag it, but I am hoping for some setting (which I havent found) or way to do this.

I having the fields on the left, the rules on the right, with the form in the middle. To me that is more natural.

 Is this possible?

This seems to be the default position for Fields, Rules, and even the Design Checker. If it does have any settings for that, it should be located under the Data tab where Show Fields is also located - I haven't seen any settings that would allow me to permanently transfer it to the left pane though.
