We have a Sharepoint 2013 farm, and I've been playing with Infopath 2013 the past couple of weeks. What I'd like to do is to have a form that retrieves some values from a published Excel workbook.
I've added the data connections (SOAP) to the form and I'm able to retrieve values (GetCellA1 operation). However there is currently one problem that I can't seem to figure out. The Excel workbook has a cell with date value in it. When this value is retrieved to the Infopath form, it shows up as a 5-digit integer. This integer is equal to the cell's value formatted as General in the Excel workbook. For example: if date is 12/22/2014, then the integer is 41995, and 41995 is what shows up in the Infopath form. I've made sure the field has been set to Date format.
