InfoPath Dev

I am using qRules command RefreshSharePointListItems to updated items from my infopath filler form to a SharePoint list, and am getting the following error:

Failed to refresh list items: Unable to cast object of type 'Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Internal.SharePointListAdapterRWQueryAdapterHost' to type 'Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.FileQueryConnection'.

 I am able to use the SubmitToSharePointList  command with the same dsname and mapping without any errors.      

Do you have any ideas on why I might be getting this error?

The refresh command uses an owssvr (XML File) data connection, not the same lists submit data connection you use for your SharePoint submit.

Okay . .I changed the dsname parameter to an owssvr query and eliminated the error, and recieved confirmation message 'Report for mapping: task50. All items match.'     I noticed that my repeating table fields did not update . .. .is there an additional step that needs to be complete to update the repeating table content in my filler form?   Sorry for such basic question!    Thanks.

You are doing great - there is a /mode parameter on the command. By default, we don't overwrite your data. But it sounds like with your refresh command, all items matched?

Here is the command that I used:

RefreshSharePointListItems /dsname=owssvr-task50 /mapping=mappingTASKrepeating20 /mode=Update

I am still not able to see any updates in my repeating table. 

The updates are based on the qRulesLastModified date compared to the last modified date in the list. When are you running the refresh command?

I think I found the problem . . ..there were some fields missing in the SharePoint list VIEW that I based my owssvr query on.   I added the fields, and the repeating table is now updating.  Thanks for your assistance!
